It was more than five years since I had a blog about traveling to Japan with small kids. I removed it during the pandemic for two reasons: you never knew when it would be possible to travel again, and I was no longer traveling with small children. I am traveling with fairly big children now.
What I learned is still valid, and I collected my experiences in a book, “Take Your Toddlers To Tokyo”, which is exactly what it says: A book about bringing small children to the capital of Japan. You can read some more tips related to the book here.
But as your children grow, so do you. We travel differently now than before the pandemic, and I wrote a book about that too, “Driving In Japan”, a book that tells you all about how to get the best out of the roads in the land of the rising sun. It is easier than you may think, driving in Japan, but there are so many individual rules and they are so full of exceptions that it takes a ling time to learn if you try to look up every rule by itself.
You can read more about me on the Japan-Top-10 site, and on the site dedicated to my books here.
I am giving you some tips based on my books on my book site, and you will find more information about how you can get the best out of Japan on my Top 10 Japan site.
